Color Journeys® — A nationwide Canadian initiative.

This program marked the consolidation of multiple product lines into one unified brand—a task complicated by decades of history, legacy formulas, and the challenge of matching paint colors dating back over 40 years. We designed a custom search experience that seamlessly mapped paint numbers, UIDs, and legacy codes to their modern equivalents. To elevate the experience further, we pioneered a Pinterest-style design viewer and color selector, giving designers, architects, and homeowners an intuitive way to explore and create.

Product design, packaging, labels, catalogs to point-of-purchase

We reimagined multiple product lines—ranging from limited-run concepts to exclusive-use pitches—covering everything from messaging to label design. Not every idea passed user testing, but several went on to reach the shelf. The process underscores the sheer volume of creative output required to land on a single market-ready solution. Many of these explorations were conceived, designed, and delivered in under a week.

For more than four years, we partnered with them to build and evolve product catalogs across multiple brands and business segments—creating cohesive systems that showcased depth, variety, and market reach.

Our impact reached beyond Sherwin—extending to Lowe’s, Menards, and other major retailers—where we served as a creative extension of their internal teams, amplifying reach and execution at a national scale.
