While most smart devices bury users under hubs, complicated setups, and endless configurations, we took a radically simpler path. We built an IoT application for Smart Bulbs—an elegant iOS and Android solution that connects directly over Bluetooth to the LED chip inside each bulb. No hubs, no friction—just seamless control through a clean mobile experience.

An illuminating iOS and IoT experience.
We designed and developed mobile and tablet applications for both residential and commercial customers, harnessing Bluetooth® mesh architecture to daisy-chain bulbs into rooms, zones, and beyond. The challenge wasn’t just technical—it demanded an elegant, intuitive interface that made complex lighting control feel effortless. With full creative and technical ownership, we built apps that were as polished as they were powerful—and in the process, we truly got to shine.
Wireframing for success
Every device, resolution, and screen size was considered to ensure the solution not only worked universally but felt intuitive everywhere. The core concept was built around a central axis/dial, with all interactions branching naturally from that hub. Human–computer interaction principles guided the design—from accounting for the average reach of an index finger to ensuring color-blind accessibility.
From wireframes to fully interactive prototypes, we mapped user stories and workflows in detail. Code was paired to devices early, enabling rapid user testing, real-time feedback loops, and iterative QA. The process culminated in UAT and rigorous field testing across varied environments—delivering an interface that was both elegant and resilient in the real world.
Putting joy into it
The final experience blurred the line between digital and physical. Colors selected in the app instantly mirrored the glow of the real bulb—purple in your hand meant purple in your room. Synced through our custom Spotify® API, lights pulsed and shifted perfectly in time with the music. We layered in elegant dimming controls, intuitive timers, and smart alarms, creating an ecosystem that felt alive and responsive. Every detail was obsessed over, every interaction polished. The result wasn’t just functional—it was delightful. A product designed to spark joy.
